About Jasmine Gruber

"Growing up with a mum in aviation, I caught the travel bug at a young age. Whether we were travelling around our home country of New Zealand or jetting off to Europe or the USA, travel was, and still is, one of the things that made me the happiest. From learning about different cultures to discovering new and exciting destinations, there’s something about the experiences you get while travelling that you can’t get by staying in your hometown. As I got older and my love for travel deepened, I wanted to explore the world even more, so I took the opportunity to move to the other side of the globe for a semester in the Netherlands. While there, I explored different cities and countries every weekend, often seeking out the lesser-known destinations. Only a year after returning to New Zealand, I packed up my things and moved to Australia with my partner where we now spend our time exploring the hidden gems of Queensland. My love for travel and writing led me to start my own travel blog where I write about the hidden gems in Australia and New Zealand as well as crafting exciting articles for travel publications around the world.
